A new study by Upgraded Points analyzed Airbnb’s nightly prices, comparing overall rates to those during the weeks of Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s, to determine which cities are experiencing the biggest spikes in cost.

  1. Madison, Wisconsin—139.8 percent
  2. Fort Myers, Florida—139 percent
  3. Las Vegas, Nevada—121.4 percent
  4. Tampa, Florida—113.2 percent
  5. San Jose, California—108.1 percent
