Colorado Airbnb ‘completely destroyed’ by suspected Tren de Aragua gang members

Trashed by Gang: Airbnb Host’s Horrifying Experience

Airbnb Host Recounts Devastating Encounter with Tren de Aragua Gang

In a shocking turn of events, a Colorado Airbnb owner has shared her harrowing experience with a group of suspects linked to the transnational criminal organization Tren de Aragua. The guest, Karen Martiz, described her property in Evergreen, Colorado, as being left “completely destroyed” after a night of chaos, with an estimated $16,000 worth of damages.

Unbelievable Devastation

As she shared her story on Fox and Friends, Martiz recalled finding her home in disarray, with stolen furniture, artwork, and even “scum” left behind. The group, estimated to have included hundreds, had also discharged weapons and left drugs in the property.

“I couldn’t believe it,” she said, visibly upset. “I’ve been hosting for two years, and this is the first time I’ve seen anything like this.”

A Full-Blown Party

The investigation, led by the Clear Creek County Sheriff’s Office, has revealed that the gang members were present at the property for a significant house party. The spokesperson reported, “We have an open investigation related to criminal activity that appears to have occurred at the property, specifically illicit drug use.”

Populated by Hundreds

Martiz expressed her astonishment, stating, “I truly believe this is something they planned. This is probably something they’re doing around, and I found bracelets you’d find at a nightclub, so I assume they were charging an entrance fee to come into my house.”

Airbnb Reimbursement

The affected party has received an initial reimbursement from Airbnb, but the company declined to comment on the alleged gang ties.

Awake to Concerns over Tren de Aragua Activity

The surge in Tren de Aragua-related activity in the United States has drawn attention, with concerns rising ahead of Election Day. The Biden-Harris administration is under scrutiny, with Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas emphasizing their efforts to combat the issue, stating, “This is not a new phenomenon.”
