Join a select group of 16 people (8 winners and their plus-ones) for an unforgettable evening at the Colosseum. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by expert guides who will lead you through a unique adventure. You’ll witness a thrilling gladiator fight, don armor, and learn the moves of ancient warriors.

The experience is designed in partnership with Paramount Pictures, celebrating the upcoming release of Ridley Scott’s Gladiator sequel. You’ll get an exclusive look at the inner workings of the Colosseum, including the hypogeum, where animals were kept and gladiators prepared for battle.

Pick your favorite gladiator type (murmillo, thraex, provocator, retiarius, or contrarete) and don the corresponding armor. Then, learn the moves and put your skills to the test in a simulated battle. You’ll even get to keep the armor and weapons as a memento of your epic adventure!

Requests to book this extraordinary experience will open on November 27th at 6 a.m. PT. The actual experiences will take place on May 7th and 8th, 2025. Each experience has the capacity to host 16 people, meaning just 32 people will have the chance to live like gladiators at the Colosseum. The booking period will close on December 9th at 11:59 p.m. PT. The experience is free, but participants are responsible for getting themselves to Rome and covering any associated costs.
